TUG of WAR

Hello Friend!

Will you, at least for now, accept this absolute truth: You have a Father in Heaven who loves you and an enemy that wants to hurt you as much as possible.

​When you understand this, so many things begin to make sense. Your Father wants what is best for you. The enemy wants you to suffer. Your Father wants to speak to you. The enemy of your soul will do anything to drown out the sound of the Father's voice. There is a tug-of-war going on and you are the rope. But you get to choose who wins the battle for your soul.

This talk, Stand Forever, by Lawrence E. Corbridge, is about a half-hour long. Make time to watch the whole thing in one sitting. Block out distractions as much as you can. Turn your phone off. Close the door. Relax. You can't block everything, but do your best.

​Take out your journal and get ready to write. When distractions come - and they will - refuse to give up. You might even have to try again tomorrow, but don't quit.
